Minutes of a Special Called Meeting of the Pulaski
Town Council held May 25, 1979 at 7:00 A. M. in the Council
Chambers in the Municipal Building.
There were present: Mayor Raymond F. Ratcliff,
presiding.
Councilmen: Andrew L. Graham, Jr., John A. Johnston,
James M. Neblett, Jr., C. E. Boyd, Jr.,
William A. House, Blair B. B.rockmeyer,
Absent: Councilmen Arthur L. Meadows & Robert M. Wallace
Also present: Town Manager, J. E. Marshall
Director of Finance Rogex A. Williams
Assist~tt Town Manager H. R. Coake
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the Town
of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of said Council
at 7:00 A. M. on the 25th day of May, 1979, for the purpose of discussing
personnel and wages as proposed in the 1979-80 Budget, and any other business
that may legally come bef ore the Council.

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ratcliff, and
the invocation was given by Councilman Boyd.
Town Manager Marshall was appointed Acting Clerk for this
session.
Mayor Ratcliff stated that the purpose of the meeting was
to discuss personnel and wages as proposed in the Town Manager's
1979-80 fiscal year budget.,
Councilman Johnston moved, seconded by Councilman Brockmeyer
that Council go into Executive Session for the purpose of discussing
personnel and wages as proposed for Town Employees.
SPECIAL
At 8:50 A. M. Councilman Graham moved, seconded by Councilman
MEETING
Boyd that Council return to regular session. Motion carried.
TO GO INTO
At 8:51 A. M. Mayor Ratcliff declared Council to be again in
EXECUTIVE regular session and inquired if there was other business to come
bef ore the Council.
SESSION TO
There being none, at 8:52 A. M. Councilman House moved,
DISCUSS seconded by Councilman Graham, that Council adjourn. Motion was
PERSONNIEL & carried.
