There were present: Mayor Raymond F. Ratcliff, presiding. Councilmen: Andrew L. Graham, William A. House,, Arthur L. Meadows, James M. Neblett, C. William Hickam, Jr., Bob J. Clark, • Mason A. Vaughan, Blair B. Brockmeyer Also present: Town Manager: J. E. Marshall Clerk: Gladys R. Dalton Town Treasurer: Roger Williams Councilman-elect: John T. Johnston Visitors: Becky Monroe, Southwest Times Reporter The invocation was given by Councilman Graham. Mayor Ratcliff stated the purpose of the called meeting was SPECIAL to set the date and time for a Public Hearing on the 1976-77 Fiscal MEETING TO SET DATE Year Budget, and any other legal matters that may come bef ore the FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON meeting. PROPOSED BUDGET WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of said Council, at 5:00 P. M. on the 7th day of June, 1976, called by Mayor Raymond F. Ratcliff, in the Municipal Offices in the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, for the purpose of setting the date and time for a Public Hearing on the 1976-77 Fiscal Year Budget, and any other items that may legally be brought bef ore the Council. WITNESS, our signatures this 7th day of June, 1976. June 7, 1976 Councilman House moved that Council set the Public Hearing on PUBLIC HEARING the 1976-77 Town Budget for 4:00 P.. M. Tuesday, June 22, 1976, in the TO BE HELD Council Chambers in the Municipal Building. The motion was seconded 6/22/76 4:00 PM by Councilman Vaughan, and carried on the following recorded vote: C. William Hickam, Jr. - aye William A. House - aye Andrew L. Graham - aye Bob J. Clark - aye Blair B. Brockmeyer - aye Arthur L. Meadows - aye Mason A. Vaughan - aye James M. Neblett - aye At 5:15 P. M, there being no further business to come bef ore the Council, Councilman Vaughan moved Council adjourn. The motion was seconded by Councilman Neblett, and carried.
