There were present: Mayor Raymond F. Ratcliff, presiding. Councilmen: James M. Neblett, Arthur L. Meadows, Bob J. Clark, John A. Johnston, Blair B. Brockmeyer, Andrew L. Graham, C. William Hickam, Jr. Absent: Councilman William A. House Also present: Town Manager: J. E. Marshall Clerk: Gladys R. Dalton Visitors: J. R. Schrader, The Southwest Times Jon Neblett, citizen SPECIAL The invocation was given by Councilman Graham. MEETING TO SET HEARING Mayor Ratcliff stated that because of the time involved in FOR TAXI CERTIFICATE placing a notice in the local newspaper for a Public Hearing on the issuance of Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity for the year 1977, the special meeting was called to allow Council to set the time and date for the public hearing. ~'~ WAIVER OF NOTICE ~F SPECIAL MEETING We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of said Council, at 5:00 P. M. on the 18th day of November, 1976, called WAIVER try Mayor Raymond F. WITNESS, our signatures this 18th day of November, 1976. ~~.~~i~ November 18, 1976 Councilman Brockmeyer moved that Council hold a Public PUBLIC HEARINCHearing on December 21, 1976 at 7:00 P. M. on the issuance of ON TAXI CERTIFICATES Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity for the year SET FOR DEC. 21ST 1977, and that notice of said public hearing be placed in the local newspaper. The motion was seconded by Councilman Meadows, and carried on the following recorded vote: C. William Hickam, Jr. - aye William A. House - absent Andrew L. Graham - aye Bob J. Clark - aye Blair B. Brockmeyer - aye Arthur L. Meadows- aye John A. Johnston - aye James M. Neblett - aye There being no further business to come bef ore the Council, ADJOURNMENT at 5:10 P. M.
