!~~ t r Minutes of the public hearing held by the Pulaski Town Council, February L0, 1970 at 4:00 P. M., in the Municipal office. There were present: Mayor C. Robert Edens, presiding. Councilmen: Wm. A. House, A. L. Graham, J. H. White, S. G. Frye, Glen K. Aust, W. D. Macgill, Jr. Mason A. Vaughan Absent: Raymond F. Ratcliff Also present: Town Manager: J. E. Marshall Clerk: Gladys R. Dalton Town Attorney: Alan Groseclose Visitors: Jane Graham, Southwest Times reporter Paul Dellinger, Roanoke Times reporter The invocation was given by Councilman Aust. Mayor Edens stated the purpose of the public hearing was to hear any citizens of the Town who desired to speak either for or against amending the Charter of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, so as to include the territory annexed by the Town by Decrees dated November 9, 1957; December 30, 1958 and December 30, 1965, and for the adoption of a Resolution requesting the General Assembly of the State of Virginia to amend Section 3 of the Charter to include the territory so annexed. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, will at 4:00 P. M. on the 10th day of February, 1970, in the Council Chambers of said Town, hear any citizens of the Town who desire to speak either for or against amending the Charter of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Section 3. Town Boundaries. PUBLIC HEARING Modifying and changing the boundary lines of the Town FOR ADOPTIQN OF of Pulaski, Virginia, so as to inclu de the territory annexed RESOLUTION TO by the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, by the following annexation GEN. ASSEMBLY decrees entered by the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Virginia: TO AMEND CHARTER TO INCLUDE NEW (a) Decree dated November 9, 1 957, of record in BOUNDARIES the Clerks Office of said Court in Chancery Order Book 20, page 197. (b) Decree dated December 30, 1958, of record in the Clerk's Office of said Court in Chancery Order Book 21, page 44. (c) Decree dated December 30, 1965, of record in the Cle rk's Office of said Court in Chancery Order Book 24, page 174. Of all of which take due notice and act accordingly.
