P~iayor Jackson advised that the special meeting had
been called primarily to discuss and consider the contents of
a Parking Authority Bi11; to accept a 50 .foot street right-of-way
from :Iercules, Incorporated, and to transact any other business
that may properly come before said meeting.
WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING
We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the
Town of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a Special Meeting of
said Council at 3:15 P. M., on the 22nd day of January, 1968, called by
C. V. Jackson, Mayor, in the Circuit Courtroom of the Pulaski County
Courthouse, Pulaski, Virginia, for the purpose of considering the follow-

ing: ,
1. Parking Authority.
2. Authorizing the obtaining of a fifty (50) foot Street right-of-
way from Hercules, I ncorpora.ted.
And transacting any other business that may properly come before ~
said meeting.

Parking Authorities, as well as to the contents of the Bill before

Authority Bill. It was brought out by the Town ~ttorney that
after the passage of the Bill ter. days notice must be given of
another public hearir.~• ?;efore Council, after whic?~ hearing the
rules and regulations of the Authority vaould be submitted.
Councilman Frye moved that the next ?regular meeting of Council,
Tuesda~r, February E, 1968, be set for z. public hearing in this
matter, which motion eras seconded by Councilman Gallimore, and
carried.
On motion of Councilman McCarthy, seconded by Council-

DEED FROA~i HERCULES man L'ggert, and carried, it was, RE;~^LVF,D, that Council accept a
FOR 50 FT. STREET
RIGHT OF 4ifAY deed from Hercules, Incorporated, to a fifty {~0) foot street
right-of-way, being 25G feet in length, from Vino Ctreet to
Lottier Bottom, which would enable the Town to extend its se,aer
lines in this area.
Town Manager TJorton was authcrized to write a letter to
LETTER OF 'THANKS Hercules, Incorporated expressing th~> town's apprc_sciation for
the ri aht-of-way.
