Avenue. The construction of the Route 11 project would make
necessary the use of the now unused Warden Springs line because the
Peppers Ferry Road relocation would nessitate removal of the existing
12" line for approximately 600 feet with later replacement toward the
end of the construction project. It had been estimated that the cost
of placing this line in service and making the necessary cross connect-
ions with the existing 12" line, would cost approximately $1?,000.00
but with the exception of that portion of the line which would have to be
removed and then replaced during the construction project, the placing
of the existing 12"T^rarden Springs line into use as a treated water
distribution line will be necessary i_n the future, with the effect
that the construction of the Route 11-Peppers Ferry Road project would
accelerate the placing of this line in service.
With respect to the Randolph Avenue project, it was ex-

On motion of Councilman Gallimore, seconded by

Councilman Cummings, and carried, Council agreed to place on the
agenda for immediate discussion the subject of a possible

uniforms for the Pulaski High School Band, said amount to be
charged to Account 1A-201-3. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Farmer, and carried unanimously.
Mr. McCarthy, as Chairman of the Industrial Committee of
1
Council, advised that the annual Industrial meeting of Top Management.
would be held in New York City on November 19th, and after a discussi®n
of whether Pulaski should be represented at this meeting, Mr. Gallimore
made a motion that Mayor Jackson and Councilman McCarthy be authorized
to attend the Industrial Meeting in New York City as representatives
of the Town. The motion was seconded by Councilman Farmer, and ca.rri~d
