WAIVER OF NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING a
We, the undersigned, duly elected members of the Council of the
.Town of Pulaski, Virginia, hereby waive notice of a special meeting of said
Council at 5100 P. M. on the 23rd day of August, 1974, called by Mayor C.
Edens for the purpose of considering the Bond Issue sale, acid any_other items
that 'may legally be brought bef ore the Council. 3

Mayor Edens stated the purpose of the meeting was to consider
CALLED the Bond Issue sale, and any other business of Council that may legally

SALE OF
BONDS Councilman House stated that telephone conversations had been
had regarding the matter bef ore Council, however, he felt a short
executive session should be held on a legal matter, and so moved.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Ratcliff, and carried. Council
EXECUTIVE went into executive session at 5:05 P. M.
S ES S I ON
At 5:14 P. M. Councilman Vaughan moved Council return to regular
session. Motion was seconded by Councilman Graham, and carried. .
At 5:15 F. M. Mayor Edens declared Council to be again in regular
session.
Councilman House moved that the Town Attorney be authorized to
$600,000 take the necessary steps for the sale of $600,000 worth of bonds to
St. Imprv.
Bonds to be finance the Town's Street Improvement Program; said bonds to be dated
sold, dated
9-1-74 - September 1, 1974 and to be paid off in a ten year period. Interest
5-7/S% int.
shall be payable September and March of each year, said interest rate
not to exceed 5.875%. Bonds to be in denominations to be designated
by the purchaser. The motion was seconded by Councilman Vaughan, and
carried on the following recorded vote:
Mason A. Vaughan -aye Glen K. Aust - aye
Andrew L. Graham - aye William A. House - aye
Arthur L. Meadows -aye Raymond F. Ratcliff-aye
S. G. Frye - aye J. L. Congrove - aye
At 5:35 P. M. Councilman Vaughan moved that Council adjourn.
The motion was seconded by Councilman Graham, and carried.
