ORDINANCE 2012-07
Ordinance Approving a Special Exception
at 210 Fourth Street, N.W.
WHEREAS, Mr. Peter Ash applied for a special exception under Section 403.3-12 of the
Zoning Regulations of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia to establish two-family attached dwelling
at 210 Fourth Street, N.W.; and,
WHEREAS, the subject property is zoned R-2 Residential District and is identified as Tax
Map No. 072-032-0008-0017; and,
WHEREAS, after advertisement required by law, the Planning Commission conducted public
hearings on May 14, 2012 and June 11, 2012 and Town Council conducted a public hearing
on July 10, 2012, wherein the comments and concerns of the public were heard; the factors
listed in Section 702.4-5 of the Zoning Regulations of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia were
considered by the Planning Commission and Town Council; and the recommendation of the
Planning Commission was reviewed and considered by Town Council; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council did consider and found as fact that the proposed special
exception is compatible with the surrounding uses; is consistent with the intent of the Zoning
Regulations and the Comprehensive Plan; is in the public interest; and will comply with other
provisions of law and ordinances of the Town of Pulaski,
NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 17th day of July 2012, that the application of
Mr. Peter Ash for a special exception to establish a two family attached dwelling at 210.
Fourth Street, N.W. is hereby approved without additional conditions.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 17th day of July 2012 by
the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
