APPROVING A ZONING AMENDMENT TO ALLOW TWO-FAMILY ATTACHED
DWELLINGS IN THE R-2 RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered it in the
best interest of the public and determined it is consistent with the general welfare of the
citizens to amend the zoning regulations for the R-2 Residential District by adding
Section 403.3-12; and,
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best
interests of the community and its citizens and bases the following amendment to the
Zoning Regulations and Zoning Ordinance upon the public necessity, convenience,
general welfare and good zoning practices; and,
NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 17`h day of April 2012, that Section 403.3 of the
Zoning Regulations, listing the R-2 Residential District Special Exceptions, be amended
by the addition of the following section:
Section 403.3-12 Two-family attached dwellings.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 17"' day of April
2012 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Virginia as follows:
Morgan P. Welker -Aye Robert A. Bopp -Aye
H.M. Kidd -Aye Joseph K. Goodman -Aye
David L. Clark -Aye Gregory C. East -Aye
