HomeMy WebLinkAbout2015-03Ordinance Rezoning 1979 Peakland Drive From R-2 General Residential District to R-3 Multi -Family Residential District WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best interests of its citizens and determined, after a review of the Planning Commission's recommendation and after a public hearing with citizen input, that it is in the best interests of the community and consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices to permit the rezoning of property located at 1979 Peakland Drive, identified as Tax Map Nos. 073-003-0000-0022 and 0023 from R- 2 General Residential District to R-3 Multi -Family Residential District; NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session this 17th day of March 2015 that the properties located at 1979 Peakland Drive, and identified as Tax Map Rios. 073-003-0000-0022 and 0023, as shown in Attachment A, affixed hereto and made expressly part of this ordinance, are hereby rezoned to R-3 Multi -Family Residential District. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 17th day of March 2015 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Heather L.
