HomeMy WebLinkAbout2017-05Ordinance 2017-05 Ordinance Rezoning 529 Pierce Avenue From R-4 Residential District to B-1 Local Business District WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best interest of its citizens and determined, after a review of the Planning Commission's recommendation and after a public hearing with citizen input, that it is in the best interest of the community and consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices to permit the rezoning of property located at 529 Pierce Avenue from R-4 Residential District to B-1 Local Business District; NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session this 20th day of June 2017 that the property located at 529 Pierce Avenue, identified as Tax Map No. 081-011-0001-0016, as shown in Attachment A -Ordinance 2017-05, attached hereto and made expressly part of this ordinance, is hereby rezoned from R-4 Residential District to B-1 Local Business District. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 20th day of June 2017 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: James A.
