ORDINANCE 2004-17
SPECIAL EXCEPTION UNDER §410.3 OF THE ZONING REGULATIONS
REGARDING A FITNESS CENTER AND FIRING RANGE
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski has considered the public health,
safety and welfare of its citizens regarding whether to grant a special exception to allow a fitness
center and firing range within the B-2 General Business District; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council has pursuant to an application filed by S. Wayne Seagle
and following a public hearing thereon found as a fact that the proposed use for a fitness center
and firing range is compatible with surrounding uses and is consistent with the intent of this
Ordinance and of the Comprehensive Plan, is in the public interest and will comply with all other
provisions of law and ordinances of the Town of Pulaski; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it'ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia that a fitness center and firing range is approved as a special exception under §410.3-9
of the Town of Pulaski Zoning Regulations on the condition that all proper certifications be
obtained from the National Rifle Association and insurances related thereto as well as full
compliance with all Federal, State and local laws, regulations and ordinances.
This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6t' day of July, 2004
and is adopted by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as follows:
