HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-01Ordinance 2021-01 Ordinance Amending the Special Exceptions Permitted in the B-3 District to Permit Dwelling Units on the Ground Floor WHEREAS, Aggregate Capital/37 West Main, L.L.C., Luke Allison, agent has applied for a zoning amendment to amend Section 4.10.2-2 (1) c to permit dwelling units on the ground floor in the B-3 Central Business District; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council and the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on January 19, 2021 wherein the applicants made presentation and the comments of the public were duly noted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made a recommendation to Town Council that the proposed zoning amendment be approved; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council has considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission as submitted: NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, sitting in regular session this 19th day of January 2021, that Section 4.10.2-2 (1) c be amended to read as follows: C. Mixed Use Buildings. Lodging facility and multi -family dwellings as part of the mixed use development. Dwelling units are permitted on the ground floor. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 19th day of January 2021 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Lane R.
