HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-02Ordinance 2021-02 Ordinance Amending the B-1 Limited Business District. To Permit Light Industrial Uses as a Special Exception WHEREAS, Pulaski Development, L.L.C., Kevin Connor, agent has applied for a zoning amendment to add light industrial uses to the B-1 Limited Business District to permit light industrial uses as special exceptions within that district; and, WHEREAS, the Planning Commission held a duly noticed public hearing on February 8, 2021 wherein the applicants made presentation and the comments of the public were duly noted; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made a recommendation to Town Council that the proposed zoning amendment be approved; and, WHEREAS, the Town Council conducted a duly noticed public hearing on March 2, 2021 in which it considered the recommendation of the Planning Commission as submitted; NOW, THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, sitting in regular session this 2nd day of March 2021, that the B-1 Local Business District regulations be amended as shown in Ordinance 2021 -02 -Attachment A, affixed hereto and expressly made part of this ordinance as if set forth herein. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 2nd day of March 2021 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Lane R.
