HomeMy WebLinkAbout2022-01Ordinance 2022-01 Ordinance Rezoning 1201 East Main Street from 1-1 Light Industrial District to B-2 General Business District ADOPTED: January 18, 2022 EFFECTIVE: January 18, 2022 Ordinance 2022-01 Ordinance Rezoning 1201 East Main Street from 1-1 Light Industrial District to B-2 General Business District WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best interest of its citizens and determined, after a review of the Planning Commission's recommendation and after a public hearing with citizen input, that it is in the best interest of the community and consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices to permit the rezoning of property located at 1201 East Main Street and identified as Tax Map No. 072-001-0000-0055, from 1-1 Light Industrial District to B-2 General Business District; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session this 18th day of January 2022 the property identified as Tax Map No. 072-001-0000-0055, as shown in Attachment A -Ordinance 2022-01, affixed hereto and made expressly part of this ordinance as if set forth herein, is hereby rezoned to B-2 General Business District. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 18th day of January 2022 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Lane R.
