HomeMy WebLinkAbout2021-28Ordinance 2021-28 Ordinance Approving a Special Exception for Catering, a Day Care Center, Bakery and Museum at 1 Corbin -Harmon Drive ADOPTED: December 7, 2021 EFFECTIVE: December 7, 2021 Ordinance 2021-28 Ordinance Approving Special Exception for catering, a day care center, bakery and museum at 1 Corbin Harmon Drive WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best interests of its citizens and determined, after a review of the Planning Commission's recommendation and after a public hearing with citizen input, that it is in the best interests of the community and consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices to approve a special exception request for 1 Corbin Drive tax parcel 072-14-1 NOW,THEREFORE be it ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session this 71h day of December 2021 that the property located.at 1 Corbin Drive tax parcel 072-14-1 as shown in the attached materials, affixed hereto and made expressly part of this Ordinance is hereby approved for special exception for operation of a catering, daycare center, bakery and museum. This ordinance is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 711 day of December 2021 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows: Lane R. Calfee Community and Cultural Center for property located at 1 Corbin -Harmon Drive [tax parcel(s) 072- 14-11 per Section 4.7.2-2(1) for Catering, a Daycare Center, a Bakery, and a Museum, has found following a duly advertised public hearing that the public necessity, convenience, general welfare, and good zoning practices (e , it / does not PeMit) the special exception request. THEREFORE, LET IT BE RESOLVED that the Town of Pulaski Planning Commission ( comme d / does Rat rprOM^A^^a) that the Pulaski Town Council approve the Special Exception per Section 4.7.2-2(1) of the Zoning Ordinance.
