Changing Setbacks for Townhouse Development Regulations to Conform with Residential
Regulations
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has considered the best interest
of its citizens and determined after a review of the Planning Commission's recommendation and
after a public hearing with citizen input, that it is in the best interest of the community and
consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare and good zoning practices, to
have townhome setbacks conform to residential requirements, and amend Section 4.4.2-1, to
adjust the minimum setback requirement to five feet from the side,
NOW, THEREFORE it be ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session this 2nd day of August 2022 amends the setbacks for townhomes to be in
line with the single-family home setbacks in the R-3 district.
The ordinance shall be effective immediately upon adoption on this 2nd day of August 2022 by
the duly recorded voice vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
Lane R. Penn- Aye James R. Radcliffe- Aye
Brooks R. Dawson- Aye G. Tyler Clontz- Aye
Gregory C. East- Aye Michael P. Reis- Aye
