Adding the Definition "Gas Station(s)" to Section 11.2
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, has considered the best
interest of the citizens and determined, after a review of the Planning Commission's
recommendation and the requisite of a public hearing, that it is in the best interest of the
community and consistent with the public necessity, convenience, general welfare, and good
zoning practices, to amend section 11.2 to include "Gas Station(s)" defined as "a building, lot,
structure, or facility with pumps and storage tanks where fuel, gasoline, oil, or other similar
products are dispensed, sold, or offered for sale at retail. Car washes, automobile service stations,
and convenience stores may be accessory uses. Such a building, lot, structure, or facility shall not
operate as an automobile graveyard." in the definitions listed in the Town's zoning ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, it be ORDAINED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session this 8th day November of 2023, to amend Section 11.2 to
include "Gas Station(s)" and its definition.
The ordinance shall be effective immediately upon adoption on this 8st day of November 2023 by
the duly recorded roll call vote of the Town Council of the town of Pulaski, Virginia, as follows:
