• RESOLUTION 98-16
HONORING
THE QUALITY AND PRODUCTIVITY
OF PULASKI COMMUNITY HOSPITAL
WHEREAS, Pulaski Community Hospital was among 16 Virginia organizations named as
recipients of the 1997 Senate Productivity and Quality Awards; and
WHEREAS, Pulaski was among those honored on Apri129, 1998 at the 15th annual Virginia
Forum for Excellence in Richmond where awards were presented by Senators John Warner and
Chuck Robb; and
WHEREAS, the goal of this quality process is the best patient care possible involving hospital
employees on every level; and all hospital employees receive training inproblem-solving and
group problem-solving techniques; and
WHEREAS, Pulaski Community Hospital received a score of 100 out of 100 and an award of
accreditation with commendation from the Accreditation of Heahhcare Organizations at their
inspection;
• NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting
in regular session on May 12, 1998, that the Town Council should and hereby recognizes the
excellent efforts of Pulaski Community Hospital on behalf of the citizens of Pulaski and
surrounding area and commends them for their outstanding performance.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of
the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 12th day of May, 1998 as follows:
