RESOLUTION # 99-6
HONORING
MR. DONALD WALL
WHEREAS, Mr. Wall aided in the rescue of a victim from a house fire at 604 Newbern
Road on the evening of February 7, 1999; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wall placed himself in harms way to save the life of his neighbor who
was bedfast and unable to remove himself from the house; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wall acted courageously with little regard for his own safety and well-
being; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Wall well deserves to be commended for his compassion and acts of
courage.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of theTown of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on March 2, 1999, that the Town Council, the Pulaski
Fire Department and the Town's citizens hereby express their deepest thanks and
• appreciation to Donald Wall for this act of bravery.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 2°d day of March, 1999 as follows:
