RESOLUTION # 99-9
APPROVING TWO PERCENT (2%) INCREASE
IN COMPENSATION PLAN
FOR MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM SALARIES
WHEREAS, the Town Manager of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia did present to the
Human Resources Committee, a proposed two percent (2%) increase in the Town's
Compensation Plan for it's minimum and maximum salarie ranges; and,
WHEREAS, The two percent (2%) increase is warranted in order to keep the Town's
minimum and maximum salaries competitive with similar salaries in the region and the
State.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on March 2, 1999 that:
Section 1. That the attached Town of Pulaski Compensation Plan in "Exhibit A"
is hereby approved as the Compensation Plan for the Town of Pulaski.
Section 2. That the two percent (2%) increase is warranted in order to maintain a
competitive minimum and maximum salary level for both new employees and to retain
well experienced and valuable existing employees.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 2°d day of March, 1999 as follows:
