RESOLUTION N0.99-13
RESOLUTION SUPPORTING PARTNERSHIP WITH NEW ENTERPRISE FUND
OF VMH, INC. TO PROVIDE NIICROENTERPRISE SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Pulaski Venture Fund is a program of the Town of Pulaski providing
microenterprise services including training, technical assistance, loan funds and follow-up
support to aspiring entrepreneurs through August 1999; and,
WHEREAS, the Pulaski Venture Fund and the Town of Pulaski Department of Economic
Development work to improve the overall business climate and facilitate entrepreneurial and
small business development; and,
WHEREAS, a partnership with the New Enterprises Fund of VMH, Inc. will be created as of
July 1999, providing microenterprise services to entrepreneurs in the New River Valley; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski Department of Economic Development will oversee and
provide the microenterprise services for Pulaski County through July 2001 in return for an annual
allocation of $7500.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in open session on March 16, 1999 that the support is given for the
• microenterprise services in Pulaski County in partnership with the New Enterprises Fund of
VMH, Inc.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 16~' day of March, 1999 as follows:
