AUTHORIZING AND ENCROACHMENT
BY PULASKI FURNITURE TO INSTALL A FIBER OPTIC CABLE FROM THE
DOWNTOWN PLANT TO THE IlVIPORT DIVISION AT 1201 E. MAIN ST.
UTILIZING AEP POLES
WHEREAS, Pulaski Furniture has requested permission to install a fiber optic cable
from the downtown plant to the Import Division at 1201 E. Main Street utilizing AEP
poles; and,
WHEREAS, Pulaski Furniture has entered into a Pole Attachment Agreement with
American Electric Power to attach fiber optic cable to existing poles; and,
WHEREAS, this line will be connected to 46 poles that extend near or along East Main
Street between Madison and 3rd Street business offices and the Import Division at 1201
East Main Street; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session on October 20, 1999, that Pulaski Furniture is granted
permission to install a fiber optic cable from the business office at Madison and 3rd Street
to the Import Division at 1201 E. Main Street utilizing AEP poles with the following
conditions:
1. Pulaski Furniture must enter a hold harmless agreement and indemnify the
Town against damages including possible legal fees so that the Town has no
liability.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and adopted by duly recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 20a' day of October, 1999 as follows:
