RESOLII'ITON 2000-2
HONORING
W. EDGAR HALE
WHEREAS, W. Edgar (Eddie) Hale has served on the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia from July 1, 1994 through December 31, 1999; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Hale has served as Chairman of the Human Resources Committee, and
as a member of the Finance Committee, the Parking Authority, the New River Valley
Planning Commission, and the New River Valley Council of Leaders; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Hale's leadership in the areas of staff selectioq personnel policies, and
employee relations has been well documented and continues to contribute to the
improvement of the human resources of the Town; and,
WHEREAS, during his service, Mr. Hale has dealt capably with numerous complex
issues and projects relating directly to the Town of Pulaski and its citizens; and,
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on February 1, 2000, that the Town Council should
• and hereby recognizes the significant and lasting contributions of Mr. Hale torthe citizens
of the Town of Pulaski and commends him for his dedication and years of service.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 1~' day of February, 2000 as follows:
