UPGRADING HOUSING
WHEREAS, The Departme~ of Finance of the Town of Polasld has provided information
regarding the necessity of collecting back taxes; and,

provided information regarding the necessity of enforcing code violations and the collection of
Town funds expended for that purpose; and,
WHEREAS. The Engineering Department and the Town Manager's office of the Town of
Pltlslcki hAVe identified six nessi.hle 211nes within the Town of Puli~ to implement the goals of
this snsoiution and to seek funding from CDBG grant funds andJor other sources; and,

NOW THEREik'ORE, $e it hereby resolved tiaat the Town Manager shall be authorized to
contract for and coordinate the efforts of the Town Attorney, who shall ttravide needed legal
cf ruices unth the varic~uc aslminictrat;.ve denartmentc clf the Town of Plalacki to effect recovery

NOW THEREFORE, 8e it further resolved that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to
devise six initial zones with the 'town of Pulaski for the purpose of this resolution and further
shall be authorized to aflply for CDBG fiords or other funding to assist in the accomplishment of
these goals.
