RESOLUTION # 2000-9
HONORING
MR EUGENE L. NUCKOLS
WHEREAS, Eugene L. Nuckols was appointed to serve the Town of Pulaski as a
member of the Board of Zoning Appeals in May of 1964; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nuckols was unanimously elected as Chairman to the Board on
January 26, 1983 and held this office for 19 years until his appointment as Juvenile and
Domestic Judge in December 1998; and,
WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski has relied on Mr. Nuckols expert leadership
and sound judgement as he tirelessly carried out the many responsibilities to which he
was appointed by the Town; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Nuckols, through these many years of loyal service, has
contributed greatly not only to Town Council but also to the residents of the Town of
Pulaski through his professionalism and wealth of knowledge.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of
• Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session on March 7, 2000, that Town Council should
and hereby does commend Mr. Nuckols for his 34 years of service and for the significant
and lasting contributions to the Town of Pulaski.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by the recorded vote of
Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on this '7t1' day
of March, 2000, as follows:
