Resolution 2000-26
Expressing the Appreciation of the Town Council and Administration
for the Service of Hensel J. Hall, Jr.
WHEREAS, Hensel "Jeff' Hall has indicated that he will retire from the Fire
Department effective November 1, 2000; and,
WHEREAS, Jeff Hall was initially employed as a firefighter by the Town of Pulaski in
July, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, Jeff Hall has also served as a volunteer firefighter; and,
WHEREAS, Jeff Hall was promoted to Lieutenant on November 23, 1982, to Captain on
October 27, 1984 and to Fire Chief on January 1, 1991; and,
WHEREAS, Jeff Hall has led his department with dedication and professionalism; and,
WHEREAS, the Fire Department has seen many improvements in training, equipment,
and cooperation among paid and volunteer personnel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Pulaski Town Council that the
appreciation and thanks of Council and administration is hereby extended to Hensel
"Jefi" Hall together with best wishes for a happy retirement.
This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted upon duly recorded vote of the
Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this, the 5~` day of September, 2000
as follows:
