HomeMy WebLinkAbout2002-12r1 LJ • RESOLUTION 2002-12 Regarding Concluding Negotiations with Fred Griffin, P.C. for Professional Services in a Study of Cost and Benefits of Performing Dispatch Functions on a Joint or Individual Basis -Such Services Contract and Cost to be Shared Equally by Pulaski County and the Town of Pulaski WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski and the County of Pulaski are presently reviewing the potential costs and benefits of performing some or all of dispatching services on a joint basis; and, WHEREAS, professional services have been solicited for the provision of technical study relating to operation and equipment of a joint and individual dispatch centers; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Manager be and he hereby is authorized to negotiate final contract price with Fred Griffin, P.C. together with the county representative and to enter into a contract for same with each jurisdiction contributing equally to the cost with the total cost estimated not to exceed $26,000. This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia on this 2°d date of April, 2002 as follows: Ieffrey S.
