RESOLUTION 2002-24
HONORING LANE R. PENN
WHEREAS, Lane Fenn has served faithfully and honorably on the Town Council
of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia from March 12,1996 to June 30, 2002; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Penn served as Chairman ofthe Public Operations and Safety
Committees and served on the Finance, Public Operations, Safety and Vtilities
Committees; and,
WHEREAS, Lane Penn has dealt capably with complex financial issues and public
projects affecting past, present, and future Town residents during his service; and,
WHEREAS, As a member ofCounci{, Mr. Penn served all citizens ofthe Town with
fairness, honesty, kindness, professionalism, and respect.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council ofthe Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on 1 my 2, 2002, that the Town Council should and
hereby does recognize the significant and lasting contributions ofMr. peen to the
citizens ofthe Town ofPulaski and commends him for his dedication and years of
service.
This resolution is adopted by recorded votc ofthe Town Council ofthe Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, on this 2"d day ofJuly 2002 as follows:
