WHEREAS, it would be necessary to change the nature and character of Peak Creek itself in order to make the creek an aesthetically pleasing tourist attraction, the costs of which are undoubtedly significant and unknown; WHEREAS, no economic benefit analysis has been performed to provide data that supports that tourists will actually use a walkway nor that such a walkway would attract citizens to downtown Pulaski; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that all planning, title work and other preparations towards the Creek Walk (Peak Creek Project) be abandoned FURTHER, that no additional local funding be expended toward the Creek Walk (Peak Creek Project). FURTHER, that any and all funds appropriated toward this project be returned to the General Fund. This resolution shall be deemed effective immediately upon its passage. Jeffrey S. Worrell No E. G.
