A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS PROGRAM
FOR FY 2002-2003
WHEREAS, Section 6.05 of the Town Charter requires submission to Town Council afive-year
capital improvements program containing information necessary as required by general law and
permits revision and extension of the document each year with regard to capital improvements;
and
WHEREAS, Section 6.07 of the Town Charter requires publishing a general summary of the
capital program and a notice stating the times and places where copies of the program are
available for public inspection and the times and dates for a public hearing on the capital
improvements program; and
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia conducted a duly noticed
public hearing on the capital improvements program document titled "Capital Improvements
Plan FY 2000-2001 to FY 2004-2005 As Amended (to include FY 2005-2006 through FY 2008-
2009) on July 15, 2002, wherein the comments of the public were received as required by
Section 6.07 of the Town Charter;
• NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
sitting in regular session on August 6, 2002, adopts as the Town's capital improvements program
for Fiscal Year 2002-2003 the document titled "Capital Improvements Plan FY2000-2001 to FY
2004-2005 As Amended (to include FY 2005-2006 through FY 2008-2009).
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 6~' day of August 2002, by
recorded vote as follows:
