AUTHORIZATION FOR ADDITIONAL PAYMENT TO
VALLEY MECHANICAL SERVICES, INC.
WHEREAS, Valley Mechanical Services, Inc. was contracted by the Town of Pulaski, Virginia to
perform certain work for the Town at the Town of Pulaski Municipal Building; and
WHEREAS, difficulties may have arisen in the performance of the aforesaid contract and that as
a result thereof Valley Mechanical Services, Inc. has submitted a claim for additional work performed;
and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia
sitting in regular session that the Town Manager and Town Attorney are hereby authorized to proceed to
resolve and pay the aforesaid claim for a sum not to exceed $17,500.00 upon receipt of a properly
executed release from all claims associated with said contract and/or additional work performed on said
contract.
This Resolution is effective immediately upon its passage.
