RESOLUTION 2004-20
A RESOLUTION HONORING DR. KENNETH M. FLEENOR
WHEREAS, Dr. Kenneth M. Fleenor has served faithfully and honorably on the Town
Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia from July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Fleenor served on the Human Resources, Ordinance, Utilities, and
Public Operations committees and further served as Chairman and a member of the
Finance and Safety committees; and,
WHEREAS, Dr. Fleenor also served on the Board of Zoning Appeals from 1998 until
2000; and,
WHEREAS, in addition to his work as a Town councilman, Dr. Fleenor has remained an
active participant in organizations, working extensively with the Boy Scouts of America
as a Scout Master; serving on the Board of the Randolph House for Adults; as an
advisor to the Dental health program at Wytheville Community College and in
leadership positions at the First United Methodist Church.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 6th day of Juiy 2004, that the Town Council should
and hereby does recognize Dr. Fleenor for his contributions to the citizens of the Town
of Pulaski and commends him for both his service to the Town as a councilman and his
work with community organizations.
This resolution is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia on this 6th day of Juiy 2004 as follows:
