TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA
RESOLUTION 2004-23
ASSUMPTION OF COMMUNITY NATIONAL BANK
NOTE AND DEED OF TRUST BY THE NATIONAL BANK OF BLACKSBURG
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski has previously extended a UDAG
loan to the Community National Bank, a National Banking Association represented by that
certain Deed of Trust dated the 8th day of July, 1998 and of record in the Clerk's Office of the
Circuit Court of Pulaski, Virginia; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, that Town Council deeming it to be in the best interest of its citizens and consistent
with the general welfare of the public, it is hereby resolved that the remaining balance of the
UDAG loan to Community National Bank represented by a Promissory Note and a Purchase
Money Deed of Trust dated the 8`h day of July, 1998 shall be assumable by the National Bank of
Blacksburg and further that the documents regarding same shall be as is satisfactory to the Town
Manager and prepared and/or recommended by the Town Attorney to effect the assumption of
the aforesaid note and Deed of Trust by the National Bank of Blacksburg.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 6th day of July,
2004, by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, as follows:
