RESOLUTION 2004-25
RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION APPOINTING MEMBERS TO PLANNING
COMMISSION ADOPTED JANUARY 19, 1982

WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia has determined that it is
in the best interest of the citizens of the Town of Pulaski and is consistent with the general
welfare to reduce the size of the Planning Commission to six (6) members and to further have the
chairperson vote only in case of a tie vote of the other members present and constituting a
quorum; and
NOW, THEREFORE, be it HEREBY RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia that the Resolution Appointing Members to the Planning Commission adopted
January 19, 1982 is hereby amended as follows that the paragraph two (2) of the January 19,
1982 Resolution which reads "the Town determined and directed that the Planning Commission
have seven (7) members" shall hereafter read "The Planning Commission shall consist of six (6)
members, and the chairperson shall vote only in case of a tie of the other members present and
constituting a quorum; and paragraph three (3) which reads as follows: "NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, meeting in Regular Session
on the 19th day of January, 1982, that the number of members of the Planning Commission shall
be seven (7), and those seven persons whose names are hereinafter set out, be and they are hereby
appointed as members of the Planning Commission to serve the terms indicated and to expire
upon the date set opposite their names or until their successors are appointed and duly qualified
as follows:

Pulaski, Virginia, meeting in Regular Session on the 3rd day of August, 2004, that the number of
members of the Planning Commission shall be six (6), and those six persons whose names are
hereinafter set out, be and they are hereby appointed as members of the Planning Commission to
serve the terms indicated and to expire upon the date set opposite their names or until their successors
are appointed and duly qualified as follows:
