TOWN OF PULASKI, VIRGINIA
RESOLUTION 2004-29
A RESOLUTION HONORING DAVID L. ALLEN
WHEREAS, the Town Council wishes to publicly recognize citizens of the Town who, through
their own efforts, have made visible contributions to improving both the appearance and life of
the Town; and
WHEREAS, David L. Alien has made significant and visible contributions to the Town through
his renovation and rehabilitation of the exterior and interiors of a number of structures in the
Commercial Historic District of the Town of Pulaski; and
WHEREAS, the efforts of Mr. Allen have greatly enhanced the appearance and provision of
services in the Downtown through the restoration and. reuse of historic structures and location of
a much needed service within reach of all citizens of the Town; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Allen's work embodies the deepest desire of the Town to revitalize and grow to
meet the needs of all its citizens,
• NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, sitting in
regular session this 7th day of September 2004, that the Council hereby extends its recognition
and gratitude to Mr. David L. Allen for his work in renovating properties in the Historic District
and bringing new life to the Downtown.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 7th day of September by
recorded vote as follows:
