A RESOLUTION HONORING PAIGE WIGGINTON
WHEREAS, the Virginia Junior Chamber of Commerce of the Virginia Jaycees recently
presented Paige Donovan Wigginton with a 2005 Outstanding Future Leader Award for
making a positive impact in her community.
WHEREAS, as an Outstanding Future Leaders Award recipient, Paige Wigginton
received a $1,000 college scholazship and was recognized for excellence in business,
leadership and public service.
WHEREAS, Paige Wigginton is a Pulaski resident and 17-yeaz-old senior at Pulaski
County High School, who has worked hard to achieve membership in the National Honor
Society.
WHEREAS, Paige Wigginton has achieved the Superintendent's Honor Roll in
practically every semester and is ranked in the top of her graduating class.
WHEREAS, as an active teen, Paige Wigginton has shown an interest in getting
involved in her community, exemplary school spirit and an enthusiastic dedication to
teamwork by participating in many extracurricular activities and sports.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, Town Council of the Town of Pulaski
hereby commends Paige Donovan Wigginton for her exceptional display of hard work, as
she an exemplary role model for her peers.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted this 7th day of June 2005 by
duly recorded vote of the Town Council as follows:
