A Resolution of Appreciation to Walter B. "Benny Keister"
for Service to the Citizens of the Town of Pulaski
WHEREAS, Walter B. "Benny" Keister has represented the citizens of the Town of
Pulaski as their representative to the Virginia House of Delegates since 2000; and
WHEREAS, Walter B. "Benny" Keister worked tirelessly as a delegate in utilizing his
time and talents to represent and work for the benefit of not only the Town of Pulaski but
the interests of Southwest Virginia as a whole; and
WHEREAS, Walter B. "Benny" Keister was known and appreciated for his integrity,
common sense and sense of duty to the citizens of the Town to which he rendered
faithful service as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates; and
WHEREAS, the service provided to the Town of Pulaski by Walter B. "Benny" Keister
benefited not only the past and present citizens of the Town, but will also benefit the
future growth and quality of life of the Town and its citizens.
NOW THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 2"d day of May 2006, that the Town Council
extends its thanks and its gratitude to Walter B. "Benny" Keister for his diligent and
faithful service to the citizens of the Town of Pulaski; and
FURTHER, that the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia does hereby extend
to Walter B. "Benny" Keister its sincere wishes for success in his future endeavors.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 2nd day of May,
2006 by recorded vote of the Town Council as follows:
