A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING EXPANSION OF THE
PULASKI COUNTY ENTERPRISE ZONE INTO THE TOWN OF PULASKI
•
WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors is considering an expansion of its
Enterprise Zone into portions of the Town of Pulaski; and
WHEREAS, expansion of the County's Enterprise Zone into the Town of Pulaski will
permit the offering of incentives in the Enterprise Zone to industries and businesses in
the Pulaski Business Park and along the Bob White Boulevard and Route 99 corridors
into the Town; and
WHEREAS, the expansion of the Enterprise Zone into these areas of the Town will
benefit both the Town and County by enhancing the ability of both municipalities to
attract business and industry to the area,
NOW THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 7th day of February, 2006 that the Town of Pulaski
wholeheartedly supports the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors in their initiative to
expand the County's Enterprise Zone into the Town of Pulaski.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 7th day of
February, 2006 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council as follows:
