A RESOLUTION HONORING JOHN T. BOLEN
WHEREAS, Mr. John T. Bolen has served faithfully and honorably on the Town Council
from July 1, 2002 to June 30 2006; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Bolen served as a trustee of the Cemetery Fund from September 1985
to June 2002; and also served on the Board of Zoning Appeals from September 1987 to
June, 2002; as a member and Chairman; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Bolen's combined service to the Town as trustee, Board of Zoning
Appeals member, and Town Council member spanned twenty-one years; and,
WHEREAS, in the course of his service to the Town as a Councilman, trustee or Board
member, Mr. Bolen carried out his duties in a conscientious and professional manner,
and always worked to insure that the Town's citizens received the highest level of
consideration by and prompt attention from him in addressing the concerns and
problems that they brought to his attention.
NOW, THEREFORE be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia sitting in regular session this 6th day of June, 2006, that the Town Council
• should and hereby does recognize the twenty-one years of service by Mr. Bolen on
behalf of the citizens of the Town of Pulaski, and commends him for his dedication and
hard work to improve our community

This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is duly adopted this 6th day of June,
2006 by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as follows:
