RESOLUTION 2007-10
RESOLUTION OF INTENT
TO JOIN THE URBAN CONSTRUCTION INITIATIVE
WHEREAS, Section 33.1-23.3(D) of the Code of Virginia permits cities and towns to
take responsibility for their construction program;
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation has established policy and
procedures to administer the urban construction program;
WHEREAS, it is desirable that Town Council formally express the Town's intent to
become a participant in the Urban Construction Initiative;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of Pulaski Virginia
requests the Virginia Department of Transportation to accept this Council Resolution as
indicative of their support and intent for the Town to participate in the Urban
Construction Initiative.
This Resolution is effective upon adoption and is hereby adopted this 19th day of June
2007 by the duly recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia as
follows:
