HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-03• RESOLUTION N0. 91-3 BE IT RESOLVED that pursuant to public hearings, the Town of Pulaski wishes to apply for $370,340 of Virginia Community Development Block Grant funds for the Cool Springs Neighborhood Improvements Project. WHEREAS, it is projected that 82 persons (70 low and moderate income (LMI} persons) will benefit from the extension of sanitary sewer service, 7 persons (7 LMI persons) will benefit from bathroom additions, 55 persons (48 LMI persons) will benefit from drainage and street paving and 148 persons (121 LMT persons) will benefit from the addition of street lighting; and WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski agrees to fund $31,760 as the Town's contribution to the project cost. The Town's funding share includes general fund and sewer fund revenues and direct project costs incurred by the Town, including architectural, engineering, inspection and legal fees; and WHEREAS, the Town Council hereby agrees to comply with all necessary rules, regulations and assurances in conjunction with the grant; • BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Manager is hereby authorized to sign and submit the appropriate documents for submittal of this Virginia Community Block Grant Application.
