HomeMy WebLinkAbout91-15• No. 91-15 RESOLUTION HONORING NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME WATCH COORDINATORS WHEREAS, the Neighborhood Crime Watch Program is a national crime prevention program that involves citizens in the safety and security of their neighborhoods; and WHEREAS, the Crime Watch Program includes an active awareness of suspicious activity, the posting of warning signs, home security inspections and Operation ID; and WHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski has twelve Neighborhood Crime Watch programs. The Crime Watch Coordinators are Bettye Steger, Patsy Gilbert, Dewey Epperley, Helen Farmer, James Hyatt, Donna Colley, Ethel Lewellyn, Colleen East, Pat Lindamood, Allen Powers, Beverly Hudson and Richard Repass. The Area Coordinators are assisted by 58 Block Captains. ~OW, THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session on May 7, 1991, that the Town Council should and hereby commend the Neighborhood Crime Watch Program and the dedication of the Area Coordinators and Block Captains. This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, on this 7th day of May, 1991 as follows: J.R. Schrader Absent James R.
