For the Courthouse Bond Issue
~~JHEREAS, the Town of Pulaski erected a courthouse and donated it to
the County of Pulaski in 1896; and,
WHEREAS, the Pulaski County Courthouse facilities have been a vital
part of downtown Pulaski since that date; and,
WHEREAS, the Old Courthouse, which ~~;as a majcr To~~n and County
landmark, was gutted by a devastatir:g fire on December 29, 1989; and,
WHEREAS, the Old Courthouse is being restored, mostly through
insurance proceeds, and ~•~ili house the offices of t'r;e Treasurer and the
Commissioner of Revenue; and,
WHEREAS, the County also has a need to upgrade the Circuit Court,
General District Court, and Juvenile!Domestic Relations Court
facilities; and,
