DESIGNATING THE LOCAL CHOICE REBATE AS
GENERAL FUND REVENUE FOR FY 1994-95
BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in
regular session on June 21, 1994, that the Local Choice health insurance rebate, in
the amount of $27,300, is designated as General Fund Revenue for FY 1994-95;
WHEREAS, the Town participated in the Local Choice health insurance pool from
1990 to 1992; and
WHEREAS, due to favorable experience of the entire pool, the Local Choice program
rebated premiums and this revenue was received in February 1994; and
WHEREAS, the Town's rebate was in the amount of $27,300; and
WHEREAS, FY 1994-95 health insurance premiums increased 25 percent, which will
be paid by the General Fund and therefore it is appropriate that the rebate be
returned to the General Fund; and
WHEREAS, since these funds were originally expended for health insurance costs,
• Town Council designates this $27,300 as General Fund Revenue for FY 1994-95.
This resolution is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, on this 21st day of June 1994 as follows:
