i RESOLUTION HONORING ROBERT "NICK' GLENN
WHEREAS, Robert "Nick" Glenn was first elected to the Town Council of the
Town of Pulaski in 1984 and was appointed to fill an unexpired term in January
1990 and was reelected in 1990;
WHEREAS, Robert "Nick" Glenn served as Chairman of the Ordinance Committee
between 1992 and 1994 and he played an important role in amending and
adopting ordinances related to the Family and Medical Leave Act, train whistles,
inoperable motor vehicles and others; and
WHEREAS, Robert "Nick" Glenn also served as Chairman of the Pollution and
Sanitation Committee between 1984 and 1986; and
WHEREAS, Robert "Nick" was admired for his honesty, integrity and his concern
for all citizens in the Town of Pulaski; and
WHEREAS, Nick's experience as a Main Street merchant and his knowledge of
insurance were valuable assets to Town Council.
NOW THEREFORE, Town Council of the Town of Pulaski hereby commends
• Robert "Nick" Glenn for his service to the Town's citizens and for his many
contributions which improved the quality of life for all Town citizens.
This resolution is adopted by recorded vote of the Town Council of the Town of
Pulaski, Virginia, on this 5th day of July 1994 as follows:
