RESOLUTION FOR CDBG PLANNING GRANT APPLICATION
Be it resolved that the Town of Pulaski, Virginia wishes to apply to the Virginia Department of Housing
and Community Development for a Community Development Planning Grant. Said grant will be used to
conduct an extensive study of. area between Washington Avenue and Bertha Street; also listed as Census
Tract # 2104, Block Group # 3. This study will consist of determining the need for housing rehabilitation,
water and sewer line upgrading, street light repair, and other infrastructure in the azea. This study will in
turn lead to a plan to conduct said rehabilitation and repairs with the assistance of the Community
Development Block Grant program in the neaz future. It is further resolved that the Town Manager, Tom
Combiths, is authorized to submit the appropriate documents for submittal of the Virginia Community
Development Planning Grant Application.
This Resolution is effective as of Apri14, 1995 and is adopted on this 4th day of April, 1995.
