HomeMy WebLinkAbout96-06• Pulaski V I R G I N I A RESOLUTION 96-6 HONORING WILLIAM A. `BILL" HALL FOR HIS INDUCTION INTO 'THE VIRGINIA STATE FIREFIGHTER'S ASSOCIATION HALL OF FAME WHEREAS William A. `Bill" Hall has spent 35 years in fire prevention, fighting fires and teaching firefighting classes; and, WHEREAS, Mr. Hall is known across Virginia for his professional firefighting achievements and training efforts of fire fighters; and, WHEREAS, Bill Hall was the leader in obtaining state funds and town support for the construction of the Draper Mountain training ground, which is used to provide firefighting training in both the newest techniques and the most modem equipment to keep firefighters up-to-date on training needs; and, WHEREAS, Mr. Hall has been inducted into the Virginia State Firefighter's Association hall of Fame in honor and with deep appreciation for his unselfish efforts and distinguished service. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia sitting in regular session on February 6, 1996 that Town Council should and hereby does commend William A. `Bill" Hall, for his unselfish efforts and distinguished service. This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by duly recorded vote of the Town Council, on this, the 6th day of February, 1996 as follows: Dr. John Johnston Ave John W.
