Authorizing Application for a Community Development Block Grant
Planning Grant
for an
Industrial Site Feasibility Study
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development is soliciting
applications for Community Development Block Grant Planning Grants; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to expand the Town's economic base and improve the physical and social
conditions of its citizens, the Department of Economic Development has prepared an application to
fund an industrial site feasibility study; and
WHEREAS, the Town's application includes matching funds of $4,000 from the Department of
Economic Development's budget.
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Town Council of the Town of Pulaski, Virginia, sitting in regular session
on April 16, 1996, that it authorizes the submission of an application seeking a Community
Development Block Grant Planning Grant and that the Town Manager is authorized to submit all
information necessary to apply for the planning grant and to meet other program administrative and
reporting requirements.
• This Resolution is effective upon adoption, and is adopted this 16th day of April, 1996, by the
recorded vote of the Town Council as follows:
