RESOLUTION 96-23
HONORING
E.G. BLACK, JR.
WHEREAS, E. G. Black, Jr. has served as a member of Town Council since 1992; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Black has served on the Finance Committee, Ordinance Committee, and
Utility Committee, and has served as an alternate on the Area Agency on Aging; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Black has dealt capably with numerous complex issues and projects
affecting past, present and future Town residents; and,
WHEREAS, as a member of Council, Mr. Black has .served all citizens of the Town with
fairness, honesty, kindness and respect.
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Town Uouncil of the Town of Pulaski,
Virginia, sitting in regular session on July 2, 1996,. that the Town Council should and
hereby recognizes the significant and lasting contn'butions~ofMr..Black to the citizens of

the Town of Pulaski anal commends him for his dedicario~- icl years~'of service.
This resolution is effective upon adoption and is adopted by recorded~vote of the Town
